[link] -------------------------------------------------------------------- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Chapter 33 The Prince´s Tale Pg. 671 Us Edition "But we`re going!" he said, unable to suppress the exhilaration in his voice. "This is it! We´re off to Hogwarts!" She nodded, mopping her eyes, but in spite of herself, she half smiled. "You`d better be in Slytherin," said Snape, encouraged that she had brightened a little. "Slytherin?" One of the boys sharing the compartment, who had shown no interest at all in Lily or Snape until that point, looked around at the word, and Harry, whose attention had been focused entirely on the two beside the window, saw his father: slight, black-haired like Snape, but with that indefinable air of having been well-cared-for, even adored, that Snape so conspicuously lacked. "Who wants to be in Slytherin? I think I`d leave, wouldn`t you?" James asked the boy lounging on the seats opposite him, and with a jolt, Harry realized that it was Sirius. Sirius did not smile. "My whole family have been in Slytherin," he said. ------------------------------------------------------------  This scene is possibly one of my favourite scenes from the book. I am pretty happy with how it turned out!!  Not perfect but it depicts the scene like I wanted to! -------------------------------------------------------------- JKR and WB owns Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Sirius Black, James Potter, Lily Evans and Severus Snape. I love him so much it hurts. So much it strikes the very core of my being. It is a tragically beautiful love that will never die but will be described for generations as the purest love that ever was or ever will be.
Adding onto you capturing their personalities, I absolutely LOVE how each character is staring at another. Sirius to James, James to Lily, Lily to Snape, Snape to Lily... it really gives the ... spectator? ... a great sense of how they feel about each other.
I also love how Snape's hair is shiniest and he's always been a greasy-haired kid
Their positions are brilliant as well. I love how James and Sirius look comfortable but Lily and Snape look nervous. It really, again, reflects their personalities well.
This is just... incredible. Once again, their personalities are really shining out of this piece. Definite fave.
